Mr. Jason Williams

Mr. Jason Williams is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cromulence, LLC. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering. He started his career at Harris Corporation in the Microelectronics Center of Excellence department as an electrical engineer designing and developing miniaturized embedded systems and RF transceivers. In 2008, he changed fields to cybersecurity to do vulnerability research with a focus on embedded systems and mobile devices. Following a passion in cybersecurity and Capture the Flag competitions, he became a core member of the Legitimate Business Syndicate (LBS). The LBS team were organizers of the prestigious DEF CON Capture the Flag competition from 2012-2017 and would later form a company, Cromulence, to contribute to the DARPA Cyber Grand Challenge program. Jason authored numerous cybersecurity challenges and developed infrastructure for both DEF CON Capture the Flag and DARPA CGC. In 2014, he and a small group from LBS founded Cromulence and in 2017 Jason took on the role of CEO. Today, he focuses his efforts on Cromulence and the companies mission; developing innovative technology in cybersecurity and tackling important problems in national defense.
